Project Mikve includes the building of 10 new mikvaos in various communities throughout Russia.

A vital importance lies with building a mikve in a Jewish community in Russia. Women who preserve the Family Purity laws are prepared to travel long distances, over difficult roads, to use a kosher mikve. However, women who are new returnees to Judaism are not yet open to learning these laws if there is no local mikve. In addition, the first stages of constructing a mikve always arouses curiosity in the Jewish community and proves to be a wonderful opportunity for introducing Jewish subjects, none more unique to the Jewish people than Family Purity.
