Perm

The mikve is being constructed on the basement floor of the ancient synagogue. Perm sits in the Ural Mountains, on the border between Europe and Asia and can be reached after a two-hour flight from Moscow. Besides the Rabbi and his family, no one else is presently in need of a mikve. Outreach work amongst the young people is very active and widespread and the mikve's construction is vital to the building of a Jewish community of the new returnees.

The mikve is now in its advanced stages.
